Tottenham Hotspur’s international players have returned to training and they have been joined by a young talent who only recently made the move to North London.
It has been a while since Tottenham Hotspur brought an academy player into the first-team and made them a regular starter. Many Spurs fans were hopeful that Mikey Moore would be the player to change this, but he was sent on loan to Rangers for the season.
Despite this, there have been some academy players spotted at Hotspur Way following the conclusion of the international break. Dante Cassanova was one player seen in training. The Jamaican can play as a right-back or a midfielder, and he will be keen to develop as quickly as possible now that he is 21 years old.
Yusuf Akhamrich has also been named as a player who was sighted at Tottenham training. The 20-year-old came off the bench in pre-season against Wycombe Wanderers and bagged two goals and an assist in three Premier League 2 matches this season.

Dan Batty in Tottenham first-team training after joining from Man City
According to Football London, Dan Batty has also been training with the Tottenham first-team squad. The 18-year-old had been part of the Manchester City academy set-up, but he was snapped up by Spurs six months ago.
Batty registered two goals and three assists in the U18s Premier League last season. He was mostly used as a substitute and only played one minute of Manchester City’s UEFA Youth League campaign.
While Batty is yet to play for Tottenham’s U21 team, Thomas Frank may have seen something in the youngster to allow him to train with the first-team.
He will certainly gain valuable experience being able to closely watch the senior midfielders at Spurs, including new signing Xavi Simons, who made an effort to speak to the academy players.
Dan Batty could be given a chance to represent the Spurs first-team
It is not uncommon for a player to be selected for the first-team before he has even made an U21s appearance. Batty could well be afforded an opportunity to play for Tottenham in a couple of weeks in the Carabao Cup.
Spurs will go up against Doncaster Rovers, so there could be some academy players named in Frank’s squad. However, it will be a big step up for Batty if he is selected, as Doncaster have made a strong start to the season and are second in League One.
