Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to pursue Sandro Tonali and are not deterred by competition from some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
Tottenham are pushing to land Sandro Tonali, who is said to be willing to link up with Roberto De Zerbi at N17, given their pair’s Brescia connection.
However, reports indicate that the feeling at Newcastle is that Arsenal will come back in for the Spurs target and that the Lilywhites’ interest could be used to force other suitors to speed up their pursuit.
Over the last 24 hours, there have also been suggestions that Man City are seriously considering securing Tonali, along with Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, making the transfer difficult for the Lilywhites to pull off.

Tottenham are ready to go all out for Sandro Tonali
GiveMeSport have revealed that Spurs are prepared to ‘go all out’ to win the race for the Newcastle midfielder this summer.
The Lilywhites are prepared to smash their transfer record for Tonali and have already expressed a willingness to pay around £80m to £85m with add-ons on top.
The North Londoners have already held ‘constructive talks’ with the former AC Milan man regarding a move to Hotspur Way.
Newcastle want a fee in the region of £100m for the 26-year-old, but the Magpies are willing to sell the midfielder as they need to raise funds to comply with the FFP and squad cost rules.
Spurs want to make a statement with Tonali signing
Despite holding talks with the player and expressing a willingness to pay big money for him, GiveMeSport reveal that Tottenham have not made an offer to Newcastle yet.
It is revealed that Roberto De Zerbi’s side are ‘keen to make a statement signing’ after back-to-back 17th-place finishes in the Premier League and have identified the Italy international as the player they need.
However, Arsenal and Manchester City have also made enquiries for Tonali, who looks more likely to remain in the Premier League rather than move to Serie A, given the price of the transfer operation.
