Tottenham Hotspur will have to see off competition from Premier League as well as from Serie A clubs if they wish to sign Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi this summer.
It has been widely reported that Roberto De Zerbi wants to add at least one midfielder to the Spurs squad as part of his summer rebuild.
Frattesi has been a long-term target for Tottenham, and it was widely reported that Spurs explored a move for the Inter Milan star during the January window.
Back in March, Sports Boom suggested that the Lilywhites are continuing to watch the Italian international ahead of the summer window, and there has now been a big update on the 26-year-old’s future.

Davide Frattesi is set to leave Inter Milan
FC Inter News have revealed that Inter are working on several exits in order to finance moves for their transfer targets, with Frattesi being on the chopping block.
In fact, the report says that the midfielder’s exit from the San Siro is ‘inevitable’, with the player already having said his goodbyes to Inter fans.
The outlet says that Tottenham are now considering a fresh move for Frattesi after managing to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
However, they could face competition from Nottingham Forest, who made a serious attempt to land the 26-year-old in the winter and could try again this summer.
Frattesi has interest from other Italian clubs
The former Sassuolo man is also attracting plenty of interest from top Serie A clubs, given his exploits in Italian football.
Juventus, Atalanta and Roma have all expressed an interest in Frattesi and all of them are ready to begin negotiations with Inter in just days.
The website reveals that the Nerazzurri are hoping to raise around €25m (£21.6m) from the Italy international’s sale this summer.
