Tottenham Hotspur are one of three Premier League clubs interested in an exciting Spanish winger, but they will have to break the bank to land the player.
Strengthening the wide areas will undoubtedly be among Tottenham’s big priorities this summer after the club failed to replace Brennan Johnson during the January window.
The injuries to Mohammed Kudus, Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons and Dejan Kulusevski forced Roberto De Zerbi to use Randal Kolo Muani and Mathys Tel down the flanks.
We know that Tottenham have reignited their interest in Savinho, but it has been claimed by some Spurs insiders that the Lilywhites want to add not one, but two wingers to their squad this summer.

Tottenham battling Arsenal and Aston Villa for Ander Barrenetxea
Sports Boom have claimed that Tottenham’s quest for a new wide player has taken them to Real Sociedad, with the Lilywhites expressing an interest in Ander Barrenetxea.
Barrenetxea scored four times and provided five assists in 34 appearances for the La Liga side last term, and his displays have impressed De Zerbi’s side, who want to refresh their options on the flanks.
Tottenham have been closely monitoring the 24-year-old’s performances, but they are not the only ones to have done so, with Arsenal also keeping an eye on the winger.
In fact, it is alleged that Mikel Arteta’s men are preparing a €30m (£26m) offer for Barrenetxea, who is seen as a ‘perfect fit’ for the Gunners’ long-term project.
Additionally, Unai Emery is also keen on adding firepower to his squad ahead of Aston Villa’s return to the Champions League and has set his sights on the Spain international.
Barrenetxea’s and Real Sociedad’s transfer stance revealed
Sports Boom say that Sociedad are ‘highly determined’ to keep the winger despite the growing interest in his services.
They are well protected since Barrenetxea’s contract runs until 2030 and the winger has a release clause of €75m (£65m) in his contract.
The La Liga club have made it clear that they will only sell if the release clause is met, and their stubbornness is causing suitors to rethink an approach.
However, Barrenetxea’s representative has informed all parties that his client is ready to listen to offers from the Premier League, with some initial discussions already having taken place.
