Ally McCoist has named a Tottenham star when asked who the most underrated players in the Premier League are.
At the start of the season, most would have expected Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur to make themselves indispensable in the double pivot at Tottenham.
However, Pape Sarr has once again put his hand up and showcased his versatility and quality, with Thomas Frank taking a real liking to the Senegal international.
Frank has even named Sarr as the player who has impressed him the most at Tottenham, which was very similar to what his predecessor, Ange Postecoglou, said about the Spurs midfielder early in his tenure.

Ally McCoist believes Tottenham’s Pape Sarr is very underrated
Ally McCoist admitted last week that Sarr is quickly becoming one of his favourite players, and the pundit has once again heaped praise on the Tottenham man.
The former Rangers boss named the 23-year-old alongside Newcastle’s Joelinton when asked to name the most underrated player in the Premier League.
When asked who he thinks the most underrated player in the division is, McCoist told talkSPORT daily: “The transformation in Joelinton has been remarkable. I like Pape Sarr, another one, at Tottenham. I think he’s another one that goes under the radar a little bit.
Host Jeff Stelling then added: “Well, he has flourished this season in particular, hasn’t he?”
Will Pape Sarr be fit for Tottenham’s clash against Wolves?
The former Metz man missed Tottenham’s Carabao Cup win against Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday due to a thigh injury.
However, Thomas Frank confirmed that Sarr only missed the game as a precaution and backed him to be fit for the Premier League clash against Wolves.
The midfielder’s fitness record is another one of his outstanding attributes, as he is rarely ever injured despite often covering the most ground in matches.
