Tottenham are set to face competition in the race for Alex Scott following the Bournemouth midfielder’s impressive start to the season.
Tottenham Hotspur have maintained interest in Alex Scott for some time now, especially since he is a boyhood Spurs fan. However, no move materialised as Bournemouth maintained their stance not to sell the English international.
Scott has since started the 26/27 season well, having already managed one goal and one assist in his opening five Premier League games for Bournemouth.

Tottenham monitoring Alex Scott after impressive Bournemouth start
The midfielder’s impressive displays have now caught the attention of some of the Premier League’s heavyweights. That is according to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, who posted an update on the future of Scott.
According to the journalist, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be monitoring Scott.
However, despite their interest, Bournemouth have maintained their stance regarding the midfielder, who remains a key part of their project.
The journalist tweeted: “Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are tracking Bournemouth’s 23‑year‑old midfielder Alex Scott! All four English giants are monitoring his progress. Bournemouth consider him a key pillar.”
Scott unlikely to leave Bournemouth this winter
Given Bournemouth’s stance, it is very unlikely Scott departs this winter when the transfer window opens again.
Spurs Web reported back in the summer that Scott was valued at £64 million, but with the midfielder’s performances, a few more millions look to have been added to his valuation.
According to the Daily Mirror, Scott could be valued at as much as £100 million when he eventually leaves the Cherries in the summer of 2027.
