Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans for their forward line have been revealed after Richarlison’s return to full fitness.

Will Richarlison be able to stay fit?
Richarlison has endured an extremely frustrating last 12 months, going down with one injury after another. This has meant that Dominic Solanke has been asked to shoulder the full responsibility of leading the line for Spurs this season.
The Brazilian has now recovered from his latest hamstring problem and has been training with the squad, but so far, Ange Postecoglou has resisted the temptation of using him.
On Tuesday, the Tottenham head coach confessed that Richarlison has been chomping at the bit to play and revealed that the forward has also looked very good in training.

Richarlison’s fitness and Tottenham’s transfer plans
The Standard have now revealed that the former Everton man will be part of the matchday squad for the big North London derby at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
However, the report claimed that despite the striker’s return to fitness, Tottenham fully intend to add more firepower to their frontline before the January window shuts.
After losing out on Randal Kolo Muani, who is now expected to complete a loan move to Juventus, it is said that the Lilywhites are expected to look at other forward options on the market.

Spurs will not sign an out-and-out striker
Postecoglou will likely not want to sign a pure number nine such as Liam Delap, who could only ever be used in rotation with Dominic Solanke.
The Australian will instead want a versatile option such as Kolo Muani, who can operate across the front three, thus giving him a lot more options.
One can understand why Spurs made such a huge effort to sign the Frenchman as there are not many players of a similar tactical profile and calibre on the market at the moment.
