Tottenham Hotspur are beginning to see the rewards of a revised approach to youth development, with Mikey Moore a shining example.
Tottenham Hotspur have often received stick for the way they have handled the loaning of their youngsters in the past.
However, this term, some of their loan decisions look to have worked a treat, with Moore one of the biggest benefactors of a loan move.
The teenager, currently out in Scotland, has been making waves, getting consistent football and putting in strong performances that have now seen him earn recognition as the season draws to a close.

The official Spurs channels have now relayed that Mikey Moore has been shortlisted for the PFA Scotland Men’s Young Player of the Year award.
The 18-year-old, after managing six goals and two assists in 28 league appearances, is joined by Barney Stewart, Findlay Marshall and Luke Graham.
Moore endured a difficult start to life with Rangers, having gone ten games without a league goal, but soon found his feet under new boss Danny Rohl following the sacking of Russell Martin.
The teenager also put in a top display in the Old Firm derby against Celtic, a performance that saw him earn praise from Rangers supporters.
Spurs see benefits of Mikey Moore loan spell
Spurs will certainly be pleased with the progress of their wide man, who is set to return to north London next season.
Tottenham are currently dealing with a serious injury crisis, with several of their creative players facing extended spells on the sidelines, and there is no denying they could do with a player of Moore’s quality.
The youngster’s loan seems to have served its purpose, as Moore has not only gained valuable first-team experience but has also seen his transfer value increase by 50%.
The youngster could well return to north London, but interest in him is starting to gather pace, with Rangers keen on keeping Moore on their side next season.
