Tottenham’s Crysencio Summerville pursuit just got even more complicated despite price drop

Agreeing a deal with West Ham for Crysencio Summerville may be much more challenging than Tottenham hoped at the start of the summer.

Summerville has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, who have already raided their relegated London rivals for Mateus Fernandes this summer, while Mohammed Kudus also made the same move last summer.

However, a deal for the Dutchman is proving to be anything but easy for the Lilywhites, with Man United alleged to have held talks with the 24-year-old winger.

Fulham have also been credited with an interest in Summerville, and another Premier League club could soon enter the race.

Liverpool could make a move for Tottenham target Crysencio Summerville

CaughtOffside say that Liverpool’s search for a new wide player could take them to the West Ham star, who is becoming one of the most sought-after players of the window.

The Reds have made ‘a serious move’ for Summerville, according to sources close to industry agents.

While Liverpool are also interested in the likes of Bradley Barcola and Pedro Neto, the Hammers man could be a ‘more realistic alternative’ for the Merseysiders.

The report reveals that while West Ham are publicly demanding £50m for the former Leeds man, they could consider offers closer to the £30m-£40m range.

Spurs eyeing Serie A star and Premier League teenager

Signing a new left-winger has emerged as a priority for Spurs, and it appears that the Lilywhites are now prioritising other names over Summerville.

Over the last 48 hours, a number of outlets have indicated that Tottenham have held discussions with Milan over a deal for Rafael Leao, who is expected to depart the San Siro this summer.

Additionally, some sources suggest that Spurs are now ready to make a mammoth offer for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi.
