Tottenham’s top 5 players over the last 10 years

In the last decade, Tottenham Hotspur have gone from strength to strength in the Premier League, and are now without a doubt one of the biggest clubs in the division.

A first top four finish, a first taste of Champions League, a first quarter-final in that prestigious tournament, so many leaps and bounds have been made by the latest crops of Lilywhites, especially under current boss Mauricio Pochettino.

But who are the best players to have graced the White Hart Lane pitch over the last ten years? Here are our top five.

Kane walks onto this list as easy as he walked the World Cup golden boot race, you simply can't leave him out.
One of our own, Kane joined the Tottenham academy when he was only 11-years-old, and has been Spurs through and through ever since.
Working his way up the age brackets, Kane eventually made his first Tottenham appearance in January 2011. Since then, the lethal striker has appeared 215 times, scoring an unbelievable 141 goals. Goal scoring records like that hadn't been seen in many years from Spurs strikers.
Despite rivals claiming that he was only a one season wonder, Kane has improved on his goal tallies for five consecutive Premier League seasons.
At the age of 25, Kane has won three golden boots in three years, reached the semi-finals with England as captain, beaten Shearer's record of 36 Prem goals in a calendar year (finishing with 39), become the first player to ever score six hat tricks in a Prem year, and he became the top goal scorer in Europe in 2017, scoring 56 goals in the calendar year. Quite some CV.
Kane's leadership, work rate, precise finishes, powerful range shots and all round world class talent makes him arguably the best centre-forward in world football right now.
