Are Juventus the favourites to land Randal Kolo Muani?

A number of Italian outlets have installed Juventus as the front-runners to land Kolo Muani, who has reportedly said ‘yes’ to the Serie A giants.

It has even been claimed that the Frenchman’s number one preference at the moment is to move to the Allianz Stadium rather than the Premier League.

However, other sources have continued to maintain that Tottenham are still very much involved in the race, with the North London club also said to have held positive dialogue with the striker’s entourage.

Tottenham are still in the race for Randal Kolo Muani

RMC Sport have now also named Spurs and Juve as contenders for Kolo Muani, alongside Manchester United and AC Milan.

However, interestingly, they reveal that the 26-year-old, who is being ‘pushed towards an exit’ from Paris Saint-Germain, is yet to make a final decision on his future.

The report does go on to state that the Bianconeri are the ones who are ‘insistingly strongly’ on the former Eintracht Frankfurt at the moment.

It is revealed that the Italian club’s interest is being driven by head coach Thiago Motta, who is keen to add the PSG man to his squad.

Tottenham hold a financial advantage over Juventus

Juve can offer Kolo Muani Champions League football, which could make them a more tempting option for the striker than Spurs.

However, Tottenham are in a much better financial position than the Serie A side and would fancy their chances of being able to offer PSG more lucrative terms.

Based on how quickly this story has been developing, the next few days could be telling in terms of where Kolo Muani ends up in this window.
