Video: Footage gives a feel of how close fans will be to the pitch at the New Spurs stadium

We have kindly been sent some stunning footage taken from inside the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The footage is recorded from just a few rows up from the touchline and really does give a feel for just how close the pitch is to the stands, considering this is a modern stadium.

The club says no front row seat will be more than eight metres away from the touchline across the ground – an average of five metres closer to the pitch than at near neighbours Arsenal.

The bowl design will have closed corners, also unlike the Emirate to ensure the new 62,062 seater stadium retains White Hart Lane’s claustrophobic feel.

Elsewhere in the video, once again the giant LED screens are being tested, just how impressive does our 17,500 single-tier south stand look? It will create a wall of sound on a match day when it is filled with Spurs fans.

Our thanks go out to Elliot.
