Tottenham Hotspur star, Christian Eriksen, was in action for Denmark last night in a EURO 2020 qualifier against Troy Parrott’s Republic of Ireland.
Despite Parrott not coming off the bench, the two sides drew 1-1, which saw Denmark qualify for the Euros next year.
However, Christian Eriksen was subjected to a rather cruel chant about his wife and teammate Jan Vertonghen by a selection of Ireland fans.
The chant referred to rumours that went around on social media earlier this year about Vertonghen having an affair with Eriksen’s wife, rumours that were denied by Eriksen.
