Video – What Spurs could get if they sign reported target Mertens on a free

According to a report from Il Mattino, Tottenham and Arsenal have both made contact about signing Dries Mertens in the summer of 2020.

Currently still a Napoli player, Mertens sees his contract run out at the end of the season, meaning he could be available on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old has a history of scoring plenty of goals, with 116 in 295 games for Napoli alone (Wikipedia).

With Spurs potentially losing Eriksen, Alderweireld, and Vertonghen on free transfers of their own in the summer, could Spurs take advantage and bring one in?

Check out what they could get from this experienced goal scorer.
