Heung-min Son was seen living every single moment from the sidelines as Tottenham took a healthy lead against Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal, with the South Korean being extremely animated for the home side’s third goal.
Spurs delivered a commanding performance at home against Bodo/Glimt to emerge comfortable 3-1 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In fact, if anything, the North London club will be rueing the fact that they are not taking a bigger lead into the return leg in Norway, given the dominance they enjoyed.
Spurs had they had the chances to put the tie to bed, and they will be disappointed at having conceded a late goal, which has kept their opponents in the tie.

Video: Heung-min Son lives every moment from the sidelines
Heung-min Son did not recover in time from his foot injury for the first leg, and a video doing the rounds on social media shows the Tottenham captain watching the proceedings from the sidelines alongside Radu Dragusin.
The centre-back and the forward were kicking every ball and appealing for every decision from the dugout, with a video showing them animated in the lead-up to the third goal.
Son and Dragusin watched nervously as Dominic Solanke stepped up from the penalty and erupted in jubilation when the striker calmly placed the ball into the back of the net.
Watch the Spurs captain’s reaction below:
This is proof that Son is still very invested in Tottenham’s success
Son was criticised for not travelling with the Spurs squad to Frankfurt for the quarterfinal, with some supporters feeling that he should have been there to support his teammates.
However, this video is proof that the 32-year-old is as desperate as anyone to see the club lift a trophy.
One can argue that no one deserves silverware as much as the South Korean, given the loyalty he has shown to the club over the last decade.
