Mikey Moore featured for Tottenham’s Under-21 side in their win over Blackburn Rovers on Friday and the winger marked his return to the team with a superb long-range goal.
The 17-year-old impressed for the Spurs first-team when he got opportunities during the club’s injury crisis, with the likes of Jermain Defoe even tipping Moore as a future star for Tottenham.
However, following the arrival of Mathys Tel in January and the return to fitness of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert over recent weeks, the teenager has struggled to even make the bench of late.
The youngster returned to the Under-21 set-up to get some minutes under his belt and it did not take him long to showcase his quality at that level.

The Spurs Under-21 side brushed aside Blackburn Rovers 4-0 on Friday at the Lamex Stadium and it was Moore who broke the deadlock for the Lilywhites on 27 minutes.
The winger picked up the ball on the left and cut inside in typical fashion before unleashing a daisy-cutter from around 25 yards out which found its way into the bottom corner.
With this strike, Moore has served as a reminder to Postecoglou about what he can offer as Tottenham look to push themselves back up to the top half of the Premier League table and set their sights on Europa League success.
Spurs youngster Jaden Williams scores a hattrick
After Moore opened the scoring, Tottenham proceeded to score one more in the first half before adding another couple of goals in the second period, with all three strikes coming from striker Jaden Williams.
The 20-year-old has had a difficult campaign so far, having scored just two in 13 Premier League 2 matches before Friday’s clash, but he will undoubtedly take plenty of confidence from his well-taken hattrick.
