Tottenham academy starlet Alfie Devine continues his rich vein of form in the EFL, netting a brace to help Preston North End emerge 3-1 winners in a crucial Championship clash on Friday.
Several of Tottenham’s youngsters are impressing out on loan this term, with many of them getting their first taste of senior football away from N17.
However, it is a 21-year-old, who is now in his fourth different loan spell, who has been turning heads with his performances over recent months.
Alfie Devine has showcased his quality in the final third regularly at Preston North End this term, and the attacking midfielder once again made the difference for his side on Friday.

Stoke City travelled to Deepade on Sunday, and it was the away side that took the lead in just the fourth minute of the game.
The Tottenham Hotspur youngster levelled the scores just nine minutes later, running the length of the pitch after being played through before slotting it into the back of the net.

Milutin Osmajic then put Preston in front with a header on 57 minutes before Devine added a third for the home side three minutes later, with the youngster producing a composed chipped finish after being one-on-one with the Stoke goalkeeper.

Has Devine come of age this season?
Devine became Tottenham’s youngest debutant and goalscorer at the start of 2021, and there were big things expected of him at Hotspur Way.
The youngster’s development has stalled a bit over the last couple of years, but he is now showing signs of fulfilling the potential he has always had.
According to reports, Devine has now emerged as a target for some Premier League sides ahead of the summer, which shows that scouts are paying attention to his growth at Deepdale.
