Luka Vuskovic’s final decision on his Tottenham Hotspur future may be just days away after the centre-back clarified his stance.

Brighton are now pushing to poach Vuskovic, with the Seagulls already having multiple offers turned down for the Croat, including a bid worth £45m.

Some sources have alleged that Tottenham value the centre-back at £60m, even though he has not made a single competitive appearance for them so far.

According to various reports, the Croat is keen on completing a switch to Brighton, as he views the Amex Stadium as the ideal platform to continue his development.

Luka Vuskovic’s Tottenham future could be resolved in just days

The Standard have now claimed that the 19-year-old’s club future will be resolved after Croatia’s World Cup campaign comes to an end.

The Balkan nation sealed qualification to the knockout stages after finishing second in Group L, owing to a 2-1 win over Ghana in their final group game.

Croatia will now take on one of the tournament favourites, Portugal, in the Round of 32 on Thursday night in Toronto. The report says that Vuskovic is fully focused on helping his nation reach the next round.

However, should they be knocked out of the World Cup by Cristiano Ronaldo and co on Thursday, we may see the Spurs man swiftly decide on his future.

Vuskovic is unconvinced by Spurs’ plan

The Standard backs up what other sources have reported regarding the centre-back by stating that he is unconvinced by the North London club’s plans for him.

It is revealed that Vuskovic had a conversation with Roberto De Zerbi, where it became clear to the youngster that the Italian could not offer him consistent first-team minutes next season.

As a result, the defender is prepared to submit a transfer request and is determined to explore first-team opportunities elsewhere.
