Tottenham Hotspur are ranked among the top eight sides in the Premier League’s all-time standings after maintaining a relegation-free run.
Tottenham Hotspur seemed to have lost their way in the Premier League in the last two seasons, where they finished in 17th place.
Last campaign was certainly one of the worst displays from the Lilywhites in recent memory as they came very close to losing their top-flight status.
It was not until the final day of the season that Spurs managed to avoid relegation to the Championship thanks to a 1-0 victory over Everton.

Roberto De Zerbi will now be hoping to improve on Tottenham’s showing from last season.
Of course, his appointment proved to be Spurs’ saving grace as the Italian managed to secure 11 points from the 21 that were up for grabs following his arrival, a run that was pivotal to Tottenham’s survival.
However, history now shows just how highly rated Spurs are in the Premier League. A report from Prime Video has now totalled the number of points accumulated by the top eight in the all-time Premier League table.
Spurs are ranked very highly, finding themselves in fifth place after picking up an impressive 1,992 points in the all-time Premier League rankings.
In first place, though, is Manchester United, who have 2,614; in second is Arsenal with 2,473, in third Liverpool with 2,402, while Chelsea are in fourth place with 2,366.
Notice how Aston Villa are nowhere to be seen in the top eight, despite arguments on social media over recent weeks that the Villans are a bigger club than Spurs. Ben Foster named Villa as the sixth-biggest club in the UK, while adding that Tottenham aren’t even in the top 10.
Despite this, Spurs are one of six clubs to never be relegated from the Premier League, and only four teams have more all-time points. Even Man City lag behind on that front!
Spurs’ Premier League standing highlights long-term consistency
It is not entirely surprising that Tottenham are ranked so highly in the all-time Premier League table given that they have been a main fixture of the competition.
Spurs are one of six sides to have never been relegated from the Premier League since it began back in 1992.
Maintaining that record is the bare minimum expected from De Zerbi this season. However, expectations remain high with many expecting Tottenham to return to Europe.
