Callum Olusesi player profile

Born in Lambeth, South London, Callum Olusesi attended the Harris Academy Greenwich, where he continued as a schoolboy while playing for Tottenham’s under-18s team before becoming a full-time scholar at the club in the summer of 2023. He has dual citizenship and is eligible to represent the Nigerian national team.

Olusesi is 17 years old and plays as a central midfielder, but he has also featured in more attacking roles and has a few goals to his name.

He has received high praise thanks to his performances for Tottenham’s youth teams, and former Spurs academy coach, Yaya Toure, even named him alongside Mikey Moore as a player to watch out for in the future.

Olusesi’s hard work both on and off the pitch has paid off. He became a member of Tottenham’s first-team squads throughout the 2024/25 season, making his debut away to Hoffenheim in the triumphant Europa League run.

He was rewarded with a contract through to 2029 in April 2025 and made his Premier League debut, away to Liverpool, around a year later.
