Kyle Naughton
The next, also from the Tottenham defence, is Kyle Naughton. Again, young and English, but again, hugely unreliable and not really someone that ought to be a regular in a top four chasing side.
We all know that Kyle Walker is a better right-back, but, even as back-up, Spurs need someone closer to Walker’s ability to come in and steady the ship, not unbalance it. Similar to Rose, needs a few years in a mid-table Premiership side before being ready for a top five side.
