Greek sensation Christos Tzolis, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, has just handed the Lilywhites a blow when discussing his next destination.
Roberto De Zerbi was forced to use Mathys Tel and Randal Kolo Muani out wide due to Tottenham’s injury situation and lack of options, with the Italian even using Djed Spence as the right-winger in the club’s final day win over Everton.
One would thus expect the Lilywhites to prioritise bolstering their wide areas this summer. It has been widely reported that Spurs are assessing a move for Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis.
It emerged just last week that De Zerbi’s men are battling the likes of Man United and Chelsea for the 24-year-old winger, and the wide-man has now shed light on where he wants to move to.

Christos Tzolis wants to join Man United
A huge transfer battle is expected to unfold for the Greek international, who has scored an astonishing 22 goals and provided 29 assists across the 2025-26 season.
However, Tzolis has now handed Spurs a huge blow by revealing that he would not be able to turn down a move to Old Trafford if Manchester United came calling.
Speaking to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad, the winger said: “United could convince me. Such a massive club with so much history. It would be hard to say no to that.”
Tzolis makes Champions League desire clear
If that was not all, the Club Brugge player also went on to further elaborate on what kind of club he wants to join.
The prolific wide-man made it clear that he wants to join a team that can offer him Champions League football, which puts Tottenham out of the running, with the Lilywhites having no European football next season.
When asked about the interest from Crystal Palace, Tzolis responded: “It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option than Club [Brugge]. The Crystal Palace train has already left the station for me.”
