Mikey Moore is continuing to generate a lot of interest, as Tottenham Hotspur are set for a big decision on the winger’s future over the coming weeks.

Moore is part of the 35-man Tottenham squad which has travelled on a pre-season tour to Australia and New Zealand, with the winger set to have further opportunities to catch Roberto De Zerbi’s eye.

The teenager featured in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Auckland on Sunday, showing some nice touches during his 63-minute performance.

However, the 18-year-old is not expected to stay at N17 this season, with reports indicating that Spurs have informed Moore that he will be loaned out again so that he can continue getting regular game time.

Earlier this week, it emerged that the Lilywhites rejected a loan offer from newly promoted Ipswich Town for the teenager, as they do not want the youngster to be involved in a relegation battle.

FC Köln want to sign Mikey Moore to replace Tottenham target Said El Mala

Sky Deutschland claim German outfit FC Köln have registered an interest in the England U19 international.

The report claims that the Bundesliga club are big fans of Moore, but suggests that it would be ‘almost impossible’ to win the race for the teenager.

It is suggested that Köln want Moore to replace Said El Mala, who Newcastle United, Brighton and Brentford are pursuing.

However, it is suggested that even signing the Tottenham academy graduate on loan would be a ‘complex operation’ for the German club.

Could a Moore-El Mala swap deal be on the cards?

Several outlets have reported since the start of the summer window that Tottenham are considering an offer for El Mala, who scored 13 times and provided five assists last season.

Köln’s interest in a loan deal for Moore raises the question of whether the English teenager could be used as a sweetener by the Lilywhites to win the race for the German starlet.

However, over the last 24 hours, it has been reported by Florian Plettenberg and others that Borussia Dortmund have moved to the front of the queue to land El Mala, having launched an offer for the winger.
