Spurs keen to wrap up Gakpo deal swiftly
Voetbal International journalist Joost Blaauwhof has said that the 27-year-old is not the kind of personality to sulk and demand a transfer, describing him as a ‘model pro’.
However, he revealed that Tottenham are determined to quickly wrap up a deal for the player following his latest performance against Como.
Blaauwhof wrote on X: Cody Gakpo is certainly not the kind of player who’s going to kick up a fuss when there are transfer issues. He scored and provides an assist for Liverpool against Como. Model pro. That could well make for a nice little bonus down the line for Tottenham Hotspur, who are keen to get the Oranje forward on board quickly.”
