Club captain Cristian Romero’s future remains uncertain, while the likes of Guglielmo Vicario and Djed Spence continue to attract interest.
Spurs have also already moved to bolster their defensive ranks, with Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Martin Dubravka all arriving.
Van Hecke has been confirmed as the club’s new number six, while Romero continues to search for a new club.

It was revealed earlier this week that Romero’s entourage and Inter Milan have an imminent meeting planned.
The Serie A side are among the clubs showing a strong desire to complete a transfer for Romero, while Barcelona remain in the mix.
Spurs fans are sceptical about Romero moving to Italy given the lack of financial muscle, but fresh reports from Luca Cilli claim that work is being done by the Argentine defender and his entourage amid interest from the Nerazzurri.
The journalist reports that Romero’s agent has arrived in Italy, while sporting director Piero Ausilio has returned to the city, and that a possible meeting between the parties could be set to take place.

Inter talks ongoing as Romero searches for new club
Romero was not part of the 35-man squad selected by Roberto De Zerbi for Spurs’ tour of New Zealand and Australia.
His involvement in the World Cup, where he progressed all the way to the final, meant he was handed an extended break alongside several teammates who made similar runs.
However, it does seem as though much of that break will be used to find a new club, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Inter have had initial direct contact with Cristian Romero’s camp.
Romano added that talks are taking place on both club and player sides, describing the deal as expensive and not easy, but confirming that Inter are trying with negotiations ongoing.
