Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to see Dejan Kulusevski make a swift return to the pitch after spending over a year on the sidelines.
Many fans are of the opinion that the Swede may never play football again, given the length of his absence.
There was an expectation that Kulusevski would make Sweden’s World Cup squad, but he has since been left out as he continues his recovery.
Sweden’s team doctor also remains rather uncertain about Kulusevski‘s chances of playing football again.
When asked whether he expects the midfielder to return to the sport, he replied: “I hope so”, which will certainly not fill Spurs fans with confidence.

Spurs fans may have mixed feelings over latest Kulusevski footage
Surely this latest update will leave Tottenham fans with mixed feelings. On one hand, it is encouraging to see the Swede taking part in such a physical and demanding sport, but with that comes the concern of him potentially aggravating his knee problem.
However, at some stage, the midfielder will need to take part in these types of activities as he continues to build strength during his recovery.
Spurs will now be hoping this is the final stretch of what has been a lengthy spell on the sidelines for the versatile midfielder.
