Fabrizio Romano has now revealed Tottenham’s first and second left‑wing priorities, but AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is not part of their plans.
Many Tottenham Hotspur fans will be pleased to hear reports stating that their club is far from finished in the transfer market this summer, despite their recent £237 million outlay.
It is understood that Spurs remain very keen on bolstering their attack and have eyes on both a left winger and a centre-forward.
It is no surprise, then, that several attackers have been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, including Rafael Leao, Crysencio Summerville, Savinho and Cody Gakpo.

Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham not pursuing Rafael Leao
Leao is certainly one of the more exciting names on the Lilywhites’ radar, and reports have claimed that the Milan forward is keen on a switch to Tottenham.
It was even suggested that talks have taken place between Spurs and AC Milan regarding a potential move for the Portuguese winger.
Some even claimed that if a €60 million (£51 million) offer arrives, Leão is ready to say yes to Tottenham, even if he will not be playing Champions League football.
Respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now taken to social media to share what he knows about Tottenham’s links with Leao.
According to the Italian, it is understood that Leao has been offered to Tottenham, but as of today, Spurs are not interested.
The journalist further explains that the deal is not taking off, as the Lilywhites have other priorities: Savinho and Gakpo.
Savinho and Gakpo named as Spurs’ top left‑wing priorities
Romano did, however, reveal that while Spurs do not currently have interest in signing Leao, they do have two players firmly at the top of their list.
According to the Italian, both Savinho and Gakpo remain the leading priorities for the wing position this summer.
He even stated that Savinho is target number one, two and three, with Liverpool yet to open the door to a Gakpo exit.
Romano added that he is not aware of any negotiations between Spurs and Leao’s agents or Milan.
