Roberto De Zerbi’s stance on Destiny Udogie’s future has come to light as clubs look to poach the Tottenham left-back.

Spurs have already made three new defensive signings, one of whom is Andy Robertson, who signed on a free transfer after his contract at Liverpool ran out.

The Scotland international’s arrival has led to speculation over the future of Udogie, who is on the radars of Juventus and Fiorentina.

Some reports from Italy have claimed that Tottenham are willing to sell the Italy international for €50m (£43m) this summer, but a reliable journalist has now suggested otherwise.

Roberto De Zerbi will not let Destiny Udogie leave Tottenham

Despite the growing interest in the former Udinese man, it has now emerged that the Tottenham boss does not want to let him leave.

This is according to Fabrizio Romano, who took to social media to state that De Zerbi is a big fan of Udogie and sees him as a key player for his project.

Romano wrote on X: “Roberto De Zerbi considers Destiny Udogie as a key player for Spurs’ long-term project. No chance for summer exit.”

Spurs have rejected multiple offers for Udgoie

This update comes just a couple of days after Alfredo Pedulla revealed that Tottenham have already rejected multiple bids for the left-back this summer.

Pedulla said that the Premier League side have no intention of cashing in on Udogie, even though injuries restricted the 23-year-old to just 20 Premier League appearances last season.

The same information was also reported a week ago by TEAMtalk, who claimed that De Zerbi has informed the Tottenham hierarchy that he is ‘extremely happy’ with Udogie.
