Tottenham Hotspur are attempting to end the transfer window with a bang by significantly bolstering their forward line, and Cody Gakpo is one of the players in their sights.
Less than two weeks are left until the transfer window slams shut, and it looks like Spurs could have an extremely busy end to the window.
If some reports are to be believed, Tottenham are looking to sign a brand new front three before the end of the window, with two wingers and a striker on their radar.
One of the players on their wishlist is Gakpo, who has reportedly already reached an agreement in principle on personal terms with Spurs, ahead of a potential move to Anfield.

Cody Gakpo is keen to complete Tottenham move as Roberto De Zerbi pushes for signing
Several outlets have reported over recent days that Liverpool would have to sign several attackers before listening to offers for the Dutchman, which they are currently unwilling to do.
A new update from Algemeen Dagblad (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now revealed that even though the two clubs may not be nearing an agreement, Gakpo is keen on completing a move to North London.
Spurs are said to be showing ‘serious interest’ in the Dutchman, mainly driven by De Zerbi, who is keen to have the 27-year-old as part of his squad.
The outlet claims that the Lilywhites are hoping to agree a deal worth €60m (£51.3m) for Gakpo, although there is still nothing resembling an agreement in place between them and Liverpool at the moment.
The Netherlands international’s future remains uncertain heading into the final stretch of the transfer window, with Tottenham needing to come up with an offer that would convince Liverpool.
Could Gakpo do a Savinho by taking matters into his own hands?
Given the former PSV Eindhoven man’s keenness to move to N17, Tottenham may be hoping that he takes a page from Savinho’s book.
The winger missed training with Manchester City last week and was also absent from the club’s matchday squad for the Community Shield fixture, with Fabrizio Romano suggesting that his absence was down to Savinho’s keenness to link up with De Zerbi’s side.
Reports from Brazil have suggested that the Spurs target is currently in a standoff with Man City to push through his desired transfer, and the hope at Hotspur Way may be that Gakpo does the same at Anfield.
