Juventus are seeking clarification over why Guglielmo Vicario has been ‘left out’ at Tottenham amid growing transfer interest in the goalkeeper.
Attention looks to have turned to departures for Tottenham Hotspur this summer following their £237 million spending spree.
That is according to reports claiming Spurs are looking to trim their squad before going big and bringing new additions to the club.
One player who could well depart from Tottenham is Guglielmo Vicario, who is on the radar of Juventus.

The Italian side are understood to be looking for a goalkeeper who can step into a leading role and, although they considered several young options, Vicario is believed to be seen as the ideal candidate for the position.
Fabrizio Romano has now shared comments from Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti which appear to hint that the Italian side may be having cold feet in their pursuit of the Tottenham man.
Speaking on their interest in Vicario, the Juventus manager said: “Vicario is an experienced and top-quality goalkeeper. We just need to understand why Spurs have decided to leave him out.”
Vicario’s injury record could concern Tottenham suitors
Vicario was indeed not included in Roberto De Zerbi’s 35-man squad to tour both Australia and New Zealand, a tour that has since ended after Tottenham defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Accor Stadium.
The Lilywhites cited injury as the reason why Vicario was left out of the squad, with the goalkeeper instead remaining at Hotspur Way.
It remains to be seen if Juventus are worried about the Italian shot-stopper’s injury record, which has not exactly been the greatest. In the last few seasons, Vicario has missed a handful of games due to injury.
In fact, since the 22/23 season, Vicario has not had an injury-free campaign.
