Juventus have entered the race for a Tottenham defender, and they are ready to propose a unique formula to get a deal done.
Some of the biggest clubs around Europe are eyeing potential bargain deals from Spurs this summer, as the Lilywhites stand on the brink of relegation.
The expectation is that Tottenham will be forced to sell many of their highest earners if they go down, as the club would need to slash their wage bill.
There is plenty of speculation on the futures of many of the Spurs’ stars, and one highly-rated defender is now being targeted by Juventus

Luciano Spalletti wants Juventus to sign Tottenham left-back Destiny Udogie
Over recent months, there have been some suggestions that Destiny Udogie could return to Serie A this summer, three years on from swapping Udine for North London.
Journalist Maurizio Russo has now revealed on social media that Juventus have entered the race to sign the Tottenham left-back and that the Bianconeri boss Luciano Spalletti is ‘pushing’ for the 23-year-old’s signing.
Russo further suggested that Juve are willing to offer goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to Spurs as a part of the Udogie deal, since the Lilywhites are looking for a new number one.
The journalist wrote on X: “Juventus – Luciano Spalletti is pushing to sign the left-back Destiny Udogie next season. Di Gregorio could be part of the deal, as Tottenham is looking for a goalkeeper to replace Vicario.”
Guglielmo Vicario’s move to Inter Milan is far from certain
Inter Milan have been widely installed as the favourites to land Guglielmo Vicario, who looks set to leave Tottenham this summer.
In fact, some sources have said that the Spurs goalkeeper has even agreed personal terms with Inter ahead of a summer switch to the San Siro.
However, last week CalcioMercato claimed that the Nerazzurri have not ruled out signing a cheaper alternative to Vicario and potentially making Pepo Martinez their number one.
