Luka Vuskovic’s proposed move from Tottenham to Brighton seems to be gathering pace after the latest update, but Spurs still hold the cards.
In a shock development this morning, it was revealed by David Ornstein that Brighton have submitted a £30m bid for Vuskovic.
Plenty of outlets have claimed over recent weeks that the 19-year-old wants to exit Tottenham this summer without playing a single game for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic agrees personal terms with Brighton
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has now also confirmed that a £30m offer has arrived from the Seagulls for the young defender.
He claims that Vuskovic has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Brighton, and he has also held ‘very positive talks’ with Fabian Hurzeler and the club’s leadership.
While the deal remains ‘complicated’ for Hurzeler’s men since Vuskovic also has other suitors, the Seagulls are ‘pushing hard’ to secure the youngster.
Plettenberg wrote on X: “Understand Luka Vuskovic has already reached a full verbal agreement with Brighton following very positive talks with Fabian Hürzeler and the club’s hierarchy.
“Several other clubs have already been turned down. Brighton have submitted a €35m offer to Tottenham. The deal remains complicated, but Brighton are pushing hard and continue to fight for the transfer. Other clubs are also planning to enter the race.”
Spurs’ stance and valuation of Vuskovic revealed
Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and many others have also been credited with Vuskovic, who won many admirers with his outstanding displays at HSV last season.
Multiple outlets have reported that Roberto De Zerbi’s side do not want to sell the teenager, who is thought of very highly at Hotspur Way.
It was reported last month by Sport that Tottenham value Vuskovic at around £52m, which is considerably higher than what Brighton have offered for the youngster.
