There has been a huge update on Luka Vuskovic’s future at Tottenham Hotspur as Roberto De Zerbi’s men continue to bolster their backline.
Marcos Senesi is expected to be Tottenham’s second signing of the summer following Andy Robertson, but the Argentine is not expected to be the Lilywhites’ final defensive addition of the window.
Spurs are reportedly making progress in their attempts to secure Jan Paul Van Hecke, who has just a year left on his contract at Brighton.
Alasdair Gold suggested a couple of days ago that Van Hecke’s arrival means that Vuskovic is likely to be loaned out next season, but an Italian journalist has now suggested another possibility.

Luka Vuskovic is open to exiting Tottenham permanently
It has been widely reported that Vuskovic is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe on the back of his outstanding loan spell at Hamburg.
Sport Italia reporter Gianluigi Longari has now revealed that the 19-year-old is open to leaving Spurs this summer without making a single senior appearance for the Lilywhites.
Longari adds that Bayern Munich and some top Premier League clubs are ‘closely monitoring’ Vuskovic’s situation after making initial contact to find out the details of a possible operation.
The journalist wrote on X: “Luka Vuskovic would be open to leaving Tottenham this summer. Bayern Munich and other top Premier League clubs are closely monitoring his profile with interest and have made initial contact for details on a possible deal. Preliminary stages.”
Vuskovic is focused on World Cup as Spurs eye new contract
It has also been widely reported that Spurs are trying to tie Vuskovic down to a new contract in an effort to scare off any potential suitors.
However, according to sources from Croatia, the centre-back’s camp have been surprised to hear reports of a new Tottenham contract.
It was reported by The Athletic a couple of days ago that Vuskovic is not expected to make a final decision on his future until the World Cup ends.
