A new report has shed light on where Luka Vuskovic wants to play his football next season as Barcelona advances its interest in the Tottenham starlet.
It has emerged over the last week that Spurs are ready to hand the Croat a new bumper contract in an effort to fend off the transfer interest in the 19-year-old.
This is amid reports that Barcelona are actively exploring a deal to sign Vuskovic, having been impressed by his impressive displays at Hamburg this season.
In fact, the Tottenham defender’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is thought to be in talks with Barca, as the Lilywhites remain firm in their resolve to keep the centre-back.

Pini Zahavi is ‘pressing’ Barcelona to poach Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham
A new report in Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now explained that Zahavi is currently trying to talk the La Liga giants into signing his client.
Vuskovic is expected to be ‘one of the most sought-after defenders’ on the market this summer, and his agent has travelled to Catalonia to discuss various deals on Friday.
The super agent is allegedly ‘pressing’ Hansi Flick’s side to make a move for the Tottenham defender.
However, the La Liga side are not convinced for the moment as they would rather spend their limited funds on an experienced defender if they have to.
Vuskovic wants to join Barcelona
Over the last few days, several reports have claimed that Spurs expect Vuskovic to remain at the club next season, but this latest update from Sport suggests the teenager has other plans.
It is alleged that the Croatian international wants to leave Tottenham this summer, even if the North Londoners manage to stay in the Premier League.
Sport claim that Vuskovic’s valuation has jumped from £9m to £52m in just one season.
It thus appears that the Lilywhites may have work to do to convince the 19-year-old that he can fulfil his ambitions at N17.
