Tottenham Hotspur are accelerating a move for Omar Marmoush, who has made his feelings clear to Manchester City about a move to North London.
Spurs have agreed a deal with Man City for Savinho and are now holding talks over securing his former teammate Marmoush.
It would be a statement of intent from Roberto De Zerbi’s side if they can get the deal for the 27-year-old over the line, as the Lilywhites would address one of their biggest weaknesses in one swoop.
Work is still yet to be done before Marmoush is pictured holding up a Tottenham shirt, but Spurs fans have good reason to be optimistic.

Omar Marmoush pushing for Tottenham move as Man City’s demands revealed
TEAMtalk have now explained that Enzo Maresca is happy with Marmoush and would have no issues keeping him at City.
However, the forward has been made aware that he would not be the first choice in the central striker role, and he is thus keen on joining De Zerbi’s side.
He believes Tottenham provides him with a route for regular football, which is the former Eintracht Frankfurt man’s priority, and his representatives are happy with the personal terms the Lilywhites are offering.
While City are prepared to consider his departure, they are keen to recover the £60m they paid to Frankfurt for the player 18 months ago.
Marmoush rejected Barcelona and Saudi advances
TEAMtalk also say that other clubs, including Barcelona, made enquiries about Marmoush this summer, but the forward is keen on remaining in the Premier League and is seeking regular first-team football.
Meanwhile, Nicolo Schira has said that the 27-year-old has rejected a huge offer that came in from Saudi Arabia over the last few hours. The journalist adds that the Man City man’s proposed move to North London is now at its ‘final stage’.
Schira wrote on X: “Omar Marmoush to Tottenham from Manchester City is at the final stage. Agreed personal terms for a contract until 2031. Coach De Zerbi is having a key-role to finalise the deal. Marmoush has turned down in the last hours a huge bid received from Saudi.”
