Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal for Savinho, but the next few hours are crucial in deciding whether he is available to play vs Brentford.
After months of negotiations, confirmation finally came from Fabrizio on Thursday evening that Tottenham had reached a full agreement worth over £75m for Savinho’s transfer.
While the negotiations with Man City for the Brazilian have gone on for several months and moved painfully slowly, Roberto De Zerbi will be pleased that the deal has been done before his side kick off their new campaign.
However, the North London club are now racing against time to register the 22-year-old so that he can be involved at the Gtech Community Stadium tomorrow.

Tottenham are hurrying to ensure Savinho can feature against Brentford
Tottenham have to register Savinho before noon today for the winger to be eligible to feature against Brentford tomorrow.
Spurs insider Szyexcel has now revealed that Tottenham’s plan is to have the relevant paperwork submitted to the Premier League before the deadline so that Savinho can be involved on Saturday.
He explained that the Lilywhites had already secured the work permit and completed the formalities of the deal by 9 pm last night, which leaves them 15 hours to finish his medical and register him.
When asked if Savinho could feature against Brentford, Szyexcel responded on X with: “That’s the aim.” When asked about whether that is realistic, the Spurs insider stated: “Already underway, agreement was reached around 9. Hotspur Way is open for 24h for medicals.”
Why Roberto De Zerbi will be desperate to have Savinho available against Brentford
With Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert, and Xavi Simons nursing injuries, and with Mohammed Kudus only having returned to training recently, De Zerbi is short of options in attack at the moment.
According to reports, that is why the Tottenham boss has halted Mikey Moore’s loan move to Koln after a deal was agreed between all parties.
If Savinho is not registered before noon, the Italian may be forced ot hand the 18-year-old winger a start in West London tomorrow.
