A Serie A star’s agent has made a big admission about his client’s future amidst speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
This has all the makings of a busy summer for Spurs, with Roberto De Zerbi making it clear that the squad requires a rebuild.
The Lilywhites may make some big changes to their backline, with Cristian Romero’s days at Tottenham appearing numbered.
It has now been confirmed that another South American centre-back, who has been on Spurs’ radar for a long time, is looking for a move.

Agent of Tottenham target Jhon Lucumi makes transfer admission
Bologna’s Jhon Lucumi was first mooted as a target for Tottenham last summer, and the 27-year-old’s future has once again been the source of much speculation this window.
Reports in Italy have claimed over recent days that Tottenham and Sunderland have both explored moves for the Colombian, who has emerged as one of the most consistent centre-halves in Serie A over recent years.
Lucumi’s agent Simone Rondanini has now admitted that his client is looking for a new challenge after four years at Bologna.
When asked about the rumours over the centre-back’s future, Rondanini told TuttoMercatoWeb: “Bologna is his home. As we know, there were already some significant opportunities last year, but ultimately no agreement was reached. I believe the boy is now ready for a new challenge, so we’ll carefully analyse the market and see if the conditions are right for everyone this summer.”
Spurs no longer need Lucumi following latest transfer developments
It has been widely reported over recent days that Micky van de Ven has decided to stay at Tottenham after being won over by De Zerbi.
Additionally, Marcos Senesi is expected to complete a free transfer to Spurs after his contract at the Vitality Stadium ran out.
With the Lilywhites thus having two solid options at left centre-back, they are unlikely to reignite their interest in the experienced Bologna defender.
