Tottenham have now reached a four-year agreement with another Premier League free agent, two days after a breakthrough in the Andy Robertson deal.

Tottenham Hotspur appear to have begun the rebuild the club promised just days after the end of their disastrous 2025/26 campaign.

Following a consecutive 17th-place finish, a statement from the Lewis family assured supporters that investment would be made into the current squad.

The first of such investments came two days ago when Spurs Web reported that the Andy Robertson deal is set to proceed as planned despite Juventus’ attempts to hijack the move.

After finding success in the pursuit of Robertson, Tottenham now appear ready to push ahead with another agreement before the summer transfer window officially opens.

Tottenham agree four-year deal with Marcos Senesi

A fresh report from German journalist Florian Plettenberg has now confirmed that Tottenham are set to complete the signing of Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth.

The Argentine enjoyed a stellar campaign with the Cherries, helping them secure Europa League football, but after four years at the Vitality Stadium, he opted against renewing his contract.

Spurs now appear to have reached an agreement with the 29-year-old, with the latest reports stating that Senesi is set to sign a four-year contract that will keep him at Hotspur Way until 2030.

Spurs Web had previously reported on the verbal agreement between the two parties earlier this year, and the move now looks on course to be finalised.

Spurs could reshuffle defence amid Cristian Romero uncertainty

The signing of Senesi could well hint at a potential reshuffle at the back for Tottenham heading into next season.

Club captain Cristian Romero has been the subject of significant transfer speculation and could yet depart the club this summer.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both believed to hold an interest in Romero, while Spurs are reportedly holding out for a £51m valuation.
