Richarlison is pushing to have his Tottenham contract terminated he seeks a transfer away from N17 over the coming days.
While reports have linked Richarlison with a move to Brazilian club Vasco Da Gama, the transfer has been put into major doubt in the final days of the Brazilian transfer window.
This is because FIFA will not approve the Tottenham striker’s loan move to Vasco, as the Lilywhites are already at the limit of players they are allowed to loan out.
Additionally, it has emerged over recent hours that Spurs want Vasco to pay £17m for Richarlison, which the Brazilian club are finding it difficult to afford.

Globo Esporte have now claimed that Spurs want more than £20m for the striker, which Vasco have no intention of paying.
As a result, Richarlison is seeking to have his Tottenham contract terminated, and his entourage are allegedly willing to seek legal action to do so.
The centre-forward has had ‘friction’ with the Spurs board through the summer after he failed to come to an agreement with Everton, while Tottenham could not come to an agreement with Trabzonspor.
Those close to Richarlison are said to believe that Roberto De Zerbi and Spurs ‘exposed’ the player during these negotiations.
The 29-year-old’s team have thus kick-started legal action as they look to make their client a free agent so that he can be released to play for Vasco.

Globo Esporte say that Richarlison supported Vasco as a boy and agreed to join the club on loan before his move collapsed due to FIFA regulations.
As the striker attempts to terminate his Spurs contract, Vasco’s management are continuing to negotiate a deal for the player, even though they are aware that the deal is ‘difficult’ before the Brazilian transfer window shuts tomorrow.
However, Richarlison wants to wear the Vasco shirt until December, and the Brazilian club are hoping the player’s wishes prove to be a ‘determining factor’ in the negotiations.
