Roberto De Zerbi has decided the schedule for the Tottenham players who will be at Hotspur Way for the three-week international break.
14 Tottenham players have linked up with their national side for the international break, but that still leaves a big contingent back at Hotspur Way.

Following the defeat to Aston Villa, De Zerbi admitted that the three-week break is important for the likes of Maddison, Solanke and others to build up their fitness.
That admission comes after several weeks of complaints by the Spurs boss that his Tottenham side are not at peak physical condition yet, but he has now made a curious decision.

Tottenham players given a week off by Roberto De Zerbi
The Telegraph have now revealed that despite De Zerbi’s complaints about the fitness levels of his players, the ones not away on international duty will be given a week off.
The players will return to Hotspur Way training ground at the start of next week to build up towards the clash against Man United on October 10.
It is revealed that the week off was planned by the club before Tottenham fell to a 3-2 loss to Aston Villa and dropped to the bottom of the table.
Despite that result, De Zerbi has decided to go forward with a plan. The publication also explains that having a week off at the start of a three-week break is standard practice from a sports science perspective.

Spurs will not play friendlies during three-week break
The Telegraph reveal that Tottenham have decided not to take their players to any overseas training camp during the break, with the squad set to stay and train at Hotspur Way.
It has also been confirmed that there will be no behind-closed-doors friendly held at the training ground ahead of the club’s clash against Man United.
It emerged this morning that Mohammed Kudus has pulled out of the Ghana squad for the AFCON qualifiers, with the winger wanting to concentrate on building up his fitness levels at Spurs instead.
