Roberto De Zerbi has made a decision on Mikey Moore’s immediate future as clubs queue up to sign the Tottenham winger.

Moore came of age during his loan spell at Rangers last season, showcasing the talent that many at Hotspur Way always knew that he possessed.

Moore has never hidden his long-term ambitions of becoming a regular at Tottenham, but the winger evidently enjoyed his spell at Glasgow last summer and will want to continue getting regular football under his belt.

Rangers manager Danny Rohl admitted last month that his side will explore re-signing the Spurs winger for next season, but the Tottenham boss may have other plans.

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi wants to analyse Mikey Moore in pre-season

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has confirmed that a long queue of clubs from England and abroad are interested in signing the teenager, either permanently or on loan.

Despite Tottenham currently overhauling their squad, the club have no interest in selling Moore permanently.

Interestingly, Gold adds that De Zerbi has now decided to take a closer look at the 18-year-old during pre-season when the players return to Hotspur Way on July 10.

That means that Spurs are not willing to entertain loan offers for the winger at the moment before De Zerbi analyses the youngster closely.

De Zerbi faces a tricky decision regarding Moore

Gold explains that the Tottenham boss has to decide whether to keep the club’s academy graduate as part of his first-team squad for next season or send him out on another loan.

The journalist points out that one key factor in his decision could be the fact that Spurs do not have any European football next season, which limits Moore’s chances of getting game time.

Some sources have even claimed over recent days that Tottenham have explored the possibility of loaning Moore to West Ham as part of a potential deal to bring Mateus Fernandes to N17.
