Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi has revealed whether he plans to turn to Richarlison in the club’s Carabao Cup tie against Liverpool on Tuesday.
Tottenham Hotspur’s focus is set to turn to the Carabao Cup on Tuesday with a clash against Liverpool in round three of the competition.
Spurs will be hoping to make it two wins from two in the League Cup after managing an emphatic 5-0 victory over Charlton Athletic in the last round.
However, it will be far from easy as they face Premier League opposition, and given their run of four league games without a win or a goal, one would expect Spurs to struggle.

Roberto De Zerbi confirms Tottenham stance on Richarlison for Carabao Cup tie
Roberto De Zerbi has already hinted at rotating his squad on Tuesday, and fitness issues are sure to force the manager’s hand as well.
But despite this, the Spurs boss remains adamant that Richarlison will not be involved for Tottenham on Tuesday.
Spurs Web has since relayed that despite the Brazilian being left out of the Premier League squad following several failed transfers, he is eligible to play in the League Cup.
However, De Zerbi has confirmed he will not be turning to the striker. He told football.london: “Richarlison, you already know everything, so nothing changes with the Carabao Cup or Premier League. (So Richarlison will not be involved even though he can play?) No.
“I said last press conference. I know what happened in the last 45 days. It is not right if I explained. It is not my behaviour, the relationship.
“The problem is between the player and the club. I stay within the club. It is coach and club together. At the start of this season I spoke to him many times to convince him to stay and he did not want to. I cannot go every day to pray for him to stay.”
Spurs’ attacking options for midweek cup clash
Tottenham have managed without Richarlison for the past few weeks – albeit without scoring a goal. We have seen Omar Marmoush and Dominic Solanke used in the number nine position already in the Premier League.
In fact, last time out against Everton, Mathys Tel ended the match as the striker after De Zerbi reshuffled his forward line.
These three players could well be involved again on Tuesday as Spurs look to progress into round four of the Carabao Cup.
