Tottenham target Savinho has been full of praise for full-back Pedro Porro after his stellar display with Spain in their game against Belgium at the World Cup.
Savinho has been named a top priority for Tottenham Hotspur this summer as they look to bolster their left‑wing position after securing six new signings thus far.
That is far from surprising, as Spurs have held interest in the City man for some time, with their admiration dating back to last summer.
The Brazilian has managed just two goals across two seasons, but that has done little to kill Tottenham’s desire to sign him.

Savinho praises Tottenham’s Pedro Porro as World Cup form catches attention
The World Cup is now in full swing, and Savinho is not involved as he did not receive a call‑up from Brazil, who themselves have now been eliminated.
Several Spurs stars, however, remain in the tournament and have even impressed, with Pedro Porro one to have consistently put in top displays so far.
The Spaniard was again stellar in Spain’s clash against Belgium, standing out as one of the highest‑rated players. He was involved in the first goal, with his cross finding Dani Olmo, whose shot was parried by Thibaut Courtois before Fabian Ruiz tapped into an empty net.
His stellar display has now caught the attention of Savinho, who took to social media to praise him after his outing against Belgium.
Taking to Instagram under Porro’s comment section, the Brazilian wrote, “Joga muito fechamento”, which when translated, means, “He plays really well, man.”
Savinho’s social media activity adds fuel to Spurs rumours
Of course, Savinho’s latest comments would only fuel the speculation around his future, with Tottenham said to be keen.
The Brazilian could be available for £60 million, which is a fair way short of the amount Spurs have paid for their biggest acquisition so far this summer.
However, it is worth noting that this is far from the first time Savinho has engaged with social media postings from Tottenham players. Just recently, he liked Mateus Fernandes’ post after the Portuguese completed his Tottenham move.
