Savinho has sparked speculation over a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur after dropping a subtle transfer hint on social media, following Spurs’ record-breaking summer spending spree.
Tottenham Hotspur have been swift in completing their deals so far in the summer transfer window.
An outstanding £237 million has already been spent – the most of any Premier League club this summer – as Spurs continue working to strengthen their squad.
This has seen Jan Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka all complete moves to north London.
The latest addition is 21-year-old Mateus Fernandes, who became Spurs’ record signing after joining for £85 million.
That record may not stand for long, however, with reports suggesting Tottenham have reached a £100 million agreement for Sandro Tonali.

Savinho drops Tottenham transfer hint
There is every likelihood that Spurs will still look to complete further signings after bolstering their midfield and defence.
Attention is expected to soon turn to the attack, where Tottenham have been linked with several options, including Savinho.
The Manchester City winger has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time, with interest dating back to last summer. But the 22-year-old has now sent a big hint that he remains keen on a move to Spurs.
This came after Fernandes took to social media to send a message to Tottenham fans following his transfer. The new Spurs signing wrote: “I’m ready !! I can’t wait to see you all at our stadium. See you soon.”
Fernandes’ post received more than 84,000 likes – including one from Savinho – which is sure to fuel speculation that a move to Tottenham could be on the cards.
Spurs weigh up wide options
While Savinho remains firmly on Tottenham’s radar, the Lilywhites continue to be linked with several other options for the wide position.
Rafael Leao has also been mentioned as a possible target, along with Crycensio Summerville, as Spurs weigh up their choices.
The City winger is expected to cost Tottenham around £60 million and, should a deal go through, it would take Spurs’ summer spending to a remarkable £297 million.
