Pape Matar Sarr has said goodbye to Tottenham after the club confirmed his move to Juventus, with the midfielder leaving North London after four years and a European final-winning contribution.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed a few hours ago that Pape Sarr has completed a loan move to Juventus, with the deal set to become permanent next summer for a total package of £25.7m if performance-related conditions are met.
Should that happen, Spurs would make a decent amount of profit on the Senegal international, having signed him from Metz for just under £15m five years ago.
Sarr has also etched his name into Tottenham’s history, providing the assist for the winning goal in the historic 2025 Europa League final against Manchester United in Bilbao.
The midfielder will now reunite with former Tottenham teammates Guglielmo Vicario and Randal Kolo Muani, with Spurs supporters hoping he enjoys his time in Italy.

Sarr made 141 appearances for Tottenham after arriving in 2021, scoring 11 goals, including some spectacular efforts along the way.
Shortly after his move was confirmed, Sarr took to Instagram and uploaded a picture from that memorable night in Bilbao, holding the Europa League trophy and wearing his winner’s medal.
He wrote: “Thank you, Tottenham, for all the wonderful years we spent together. A special thank you to the fans for their incredible support and love. See you again very soon!”
Lucas Bergvall could make late controversial Tottenham exit
Just over a week ago, Roberto De Zerbi insisted that Lucas Bergvall would 100% remain at Tottenham this season despite earlier interest from Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.
That stance could now face a late test, with Tottenham insider Szyexcl claiming less than an hour ago that Chelsea have made a surprise enquiry for Bergvall and that the Sweden international himself is open to the move.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has also backed the information, with Chelsea potentially needing a replacement for Enzo Fernandez if he completes a late move to Manchester City.
Tottenham do have plenty of options in Bergvall’s position, but with the deadline now here, he could have a very interesting few hours ahead.
