Lucas Bergvall open to swapping Tottenham for Chelsea
Tottenham insider, Szyexcl, has now revealed that Lucas Bergvall has become the shock late subject of an enquiry from Chelsea.
In response to a journalist who covers the Blues, who first reported on the incident, the Spurs insider revealed that the Swede is open to a move to Stamford Bridge.
Responding to a claim that Chelsea had launched an enquiry for Bergvall, Szyexcel responded on X: “Was during talks yesterday, Bergvall would be open to it.”
Another Spurs midfielder is attracting late transfer interest
With just hours left in the window, one would think that Tottenham are unlikely to entertain the prospect of selling Bergvall now, especially as De Zerbi has said the Swede is 100 per cent staying.
However, Bergvall is not the only Tottenham youngster attracting late interest, with reports over recent hours claiming that an unnamed club has made a deadline-day approach for Archie Gray.
Spurs have rejected the approach, making it clear that they have no intention of letting the former Leeds man leave.
