Sky Sports reporter reveals Juventus’ midfield shopping list and it’s good news for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele is said to be continuing with talks continuing with Lyon yet no deal is on the verge of being agreed (Sky Sports).

Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old midfielder in recent months (Daily Mail) which certainly causes a concern that there is a potential that Spurs are risking losing out on their transfer target.

However, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed on Twitter that Ndombele does not feature on Juventus’ midfield target list and have instead identified either Adrien Rabiot, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic or Paul Pogba as potential recruits.

If the Italian giants are indeed focusing elsewhere it will certainly help Spurs in their hopes of landing the French international.

Lyon signed Ndombele for a bargain £7million last summer from Amiens following the conclusion of a season-long loan deal (talkSPORT).

Hopefully, Daniel Levy has learned from his experience of trying to drag out a deal for Jack Grealish last summer when a transfer failed to materialise and he backs Pochettino by getting the transfer business concluded ahead of the start of pre-season training.
