However, the report confirms that other sources have reported on the matter, explaining that Tottenham’s asking price remains the ‘major obstacle’ to the two deals.
It is revealed that the North London club are demanding €40m (£34m) for Spence and €50m (£42.5m) for Romero.
Spurs’ asking price for the Argentine defender is said to be higher than the fee Chelsea want for Trevoh Chalobah, who Inter deemed too expensive.

The outlet confidently asserts that the Serie A club will not spend €80m (£68m) or more on the Spurs duo, but Romero’s desire to leave is forcing the Lilywhites to find a solution.
