Tottenham fans have set their Lucas Bergvall valuation following £38m and £46m bids from Nottingham Forest and Newcastle, respectively.
Nottingham Forest remain keen on securing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Bergvall in the summer transfer window. Interest from Oliver Glasner’s side has already led to a first offer being sent to Spurs, but it was quickly rejected by the Lilywhites.
It is explained that Tottenham value Bergvall at about £50 million, while the Tricky Trees’ initial offer was far below that at £38 million. A second offer is expected to follow soon, with reports adding that Forest are readying a £45 million bid for Bergvall.
However, Newcastle have already matched that price and more, with their £46m bid also being rejected by Tottenham.

Tottenham fans set Lucas Bergvall asking price amid latest Nottingham Forest offer
Tottenham fans have since taken to social media to react to Forest’s initial Bergvall offer, with many left far from pleased.
Now, they have again shared their reaction, this time naming the exact asking price Tottenham should demand as Nottingham Forest prepare a second bid.
One fan said: “Vuskovic went for circa 50m Prem unproven. Bergvall Premier Proven 60m plus 20% sell on fee.” Another stated: “£45m 20% sell on and matching rights (similar to the Vuskovic deal).”
A third fan proposed a swap deal: “45 Million and MGW for free.” A fourth wanted a bumper deal: “£100m….be like the other clubs to Spurs……pay up or forget about it.” One other fan wants Forest to pay a lot more: “£60m for most clubs £80m for Mr Marinakis.” Another commented: “£130m so we do not sell. Madness to sell him.”
One other prefers a loan move: “50m for someone who is not guaranteed game time and is likely 5th choice CM (maybe further back depending on how Gallagher and Madders are used) is decent tbh.
I would rather loan him out personally.” Another fan added: “An above average Anderson is £106m… that is the benchmark.. £65m is fair.” A final fan stated: “Because it is Forest I would push them to 60-70 like they f**ked us over with MGW.”
Spurs have every reason to demand a premium fee
The demands from Tottenham fans are not ridiculous given the prices we have seen so far in the transfer market.
Spurs themselves paid a rather high £85 million for Mateus Fernandes, who only just got relegated and is 21 years old.
Elliot Anderson also just moved to Manchester City for £116 million this summer, while Vuskovic, who is not Premier League proven, secured a £50 million move to Brighton.
Bergvall is a player who is Premier League proven and even made a clean sweep of the individual awards in his first season at Spurs.
A move for a fee in the region of £60 million upwards is a fair deal, especially when Forest have the money to spend.
