Manchester City are now willing to part ways with Savinho for a significantly lower fee than Tottenham were prepared to pay last summer, with interest in the winger continuing to grow.
Spurs Web first reported Tottenham Hotspur’s renewed interest in Savinho last week after their failed £70m attempt to sign the 22-year-old fell through last summer, resulting in the winger remaining at Manchester City and extending his contract.
Pep Guardiola was a major factor in Savinho staying put during the 25-26 season, despite the player being keen on a move to Spurs.
However, with the Spaniard now having departed, Tottenham will fancy their chances of striking a deal.
The situation has evolved further in recent weeks, with the possibility of Savinho leaving Manchester City now appearing more realistic than it did a year ago.

Tottenham discover Savinho transfer asking price
Spurs Web have since reported that Manchester City are open to selling Savinho this summer, although that remains dependent on whether their next manager wants to keep hold of the 22-year-old.
We have also reported that Savinho remains open to a move away from Man City, but Spurs will have to fend off interest from Newcastle United, who are now in the market for a new winger following the sale of Anthony Gordon.
TeamTalk has now revealed exactly how much Tottenham will have to pay to secure the services of Savinho ahead of next season.
It is believed the winger will cost £60m (€69m/$80.7m), £10m less than what Spurs were willing to pay last summer, while the report adds that the fee could fall further given City’s willingness to sell.
Spurs see Savinho as a strong attacking option
Spurs feel Savinho could flourish in the capital under Roberto De Zerbi and provide strong competition on either flank, particularly on the right.
The Brazilian is capable of operating on both wings, which would be a bonus for Tottenham, given how often injuries have disrupted their attacking options in recent seasons.
However, the winger’s output may be a cause for concern after he significantly underperformed last season, managing just one goal for Manchester City.
It is worth noting that injuries played a part in that return, while he also struggled for regular game time under Guardiola.
